Halahala and Generational curse
Do you know what Halahala is? It's the poison that shiva drank which came out of samudhra manthana. Now, who in their sane mind drinks poison? Nobody. That's why shiva drank it. Because he cannot be defined. Adjectives are not for him. He is formless and full of form. The contradictions of contradictions. He drank it so he could protect the world from the danger. And his ardhangini, parvathi devi, pressed his throat to avoid the poison spreading to his entire body. It remained there. In his throat. But what happens to that poison? Does it remain there forever?
It does..but as a medium of constant metamorphosis. His every word is the ultimate truth. Constantly aligned with the panchabhootas. I can go on about shiva forever. But that's not why I'm writing this.
We are all a part of him. We have his attributes. Every struggle, every pain we go through is an opportunity to evoke his energy within us. The "Generational curse" we talk about often these days is like Halahala. It was always present. Until someone was ready to feel it, process it and end it. If you can relate, keep reading. Do you feel a lump in your throat whenever you see/hear something that isn't right or not sourcing from the right place? But you felt helpless about it? Because whatever you say or do will make no impact in front of the multigenerational conditioning to ignore the truth? My friend, this is where you step in and channel neelakanta. You are gifted with this opportunity to see the truth. Helplessness is the first step of awareness. Rise above it. Know thy strength. Churn the ignorance fearlessly. Receive everything that comes out of it with grace. Everything you want to say or do out of haste will get you nowhere. Process it. Go to the samadhi state. You will realise the impact and importance of silence. Silence is not being quiet. Silence is subconscious work, prayer, deep observation and alignment with the supreme. Be like Neelakantha. Rustic, baddass and wise. But you know you needed this. Because so did I. :-)
